OUR STORY - LOVE BOAT PARTIES SOUL AND REGGAE PARTY BOAT
Love Boat Parties was formed by two friends, Livy Brown and Bev Lang. The pair both having a real passion for music, decided that there was a niche in the market for a London river boat party on the Thames with two floors of different music, soul and reggae, where guests could have a totally unique experience with a choice or mix of music.
Both having attended other London party boats that played only soul, reggae, jazz funk and lovers rock , they decided to create an event with a totally different atmosphere and upmarket feel. Believing that the guests were the number one priority and should have a choice of music over 2 floors they created LOVE BOAT PARTIES.A very important factor was the sound system and music. Quality lighting and sound is what you will find on board. As this boat was all about change, it was decided that music being played would be the kind heard way back in day in clubs like Cubies, Night Moves, Lacey Lady and All Nations.
Teachers started off playing music at the tender age of 18 on the sound systems in the 80 s, then went on to be resident DJ in Diamonds in Streatham. Teachers has played at many corporate, and private events all over the Uk. Teachers not only plays music, but also has his own sound system.

My love for Soul, Jazz, Funk, Reggae &
Lovers Rock started at an early age and I just had an urge as a fresh faced 17
year old to get out & share this great Music.
I took to DJ’n like a duck to water & still feel the joy that it brings me and many others some 33 years later. My career has taken me from being a mobile DJ, to Club work in the 80’s, on to Corporate work & in the last 8 years running my own promotions and spinning the tunes that bring people joy.
